Whoever is responsible for making today feel like it's been 8 years long can just knock it off already. It's been a LONG time since a day has dragged like this. Even my usual strategies for making time fly haven't worked. I've cleaned, I've got music on, I've watched a couple of episodes of Merlin, and it's barely 10 p.m. What the heck?
People have called, Chris has texted as usual, and the day continues to crawl. I don't even know. Maybe it's because I have a four day weekend coming up? I took Monday off for mine and Chris's wedding anniversary (6 years already, wow!), and since I never work Tuesdays, that gives me a nice long weekend. What do you want to bet THOSE four days pass like lightning?
